Born and raised in Lake St. Louis / Wentzville area, Rita, a consummate business woman never ever "rings her own bell." The fact that she services 3 generations of many families speaks volumes.

From 1979 to 2004 she owned 2 salons in Lake St. Louis, bringing the first spa to that area. When the hospital purchased the building her business was in, she analyzed the growth explosion in the Wentzville area, said good-bye to Lake St. Louis, and in 2004 opened Uptown Looks, the first full service salon and spa in Wentzville. Another bold move included the choice of purchasing a free standing building on the "quieter side" of The Parkway. Located next to the American Legion Hall on Business Hwy 61 is the little jewel she has created.
